Yes, you read right, if you sponsor our team, members of the Bellmawr Fire Department will shave their heads on March 1, 2008. We are taking part in the funraising event that is part of the St. Baldrick's Foundation. The mission of the St. Baldrick's Foundation is to raise awareness and funds to cure kids' cancer by supporting cancer research and fellowships. The Bellmawr Fire Department needs YOUR help raising the funds for our team. Our team goal is to raise $5000 to donate to the foundation. The event will take place on March 1, 2008 at Shady Katie's Pub & Patio in Somerdale NJ. Please come out and enjoy the event with us! If you want to do more then just be a spectator, you can get involved by visiting StBaldricks.org! The Bellmawr Fire Department is asking its members, friends, and family, to participate in the event. We need members to sign up to increase our chances of reaching our fundraising goal. Be a HERO for kids with cancer and participate with us in having fun for a good cause at this event. Sign up sheets are posted at the firehouse. Shavee's who sign up at the firehouse will be automatically registered. OR you can register yourself at www.StBaldricks.org. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT IN ORDER TO DONATE TO OUR TEAM! Participants are encouraged to begin getting as many donations as they can asap. All CASH and CHECK donations must be accompanied by an official donation form which are available above to download and print, or see Andrew Johnson at the station to recieve some of these forms.
