TITLE » We regret to announce the passing of Daniel Sullivan.

Chief Sullivan served over 60 years of dedicated service to this fire company as was extremely instrumental in the construction of our present station.
All members are to report to the station in full class-A dress uniforms at 0800hrs on 02/05/08 to attend the services as the services will be conducted as a full fireman ceremony.

SULLIVAN, DANIEL A.
On February 1, 2008, of Bellmawr. Age 88.
Beloved husband of Emily (nee Rocco) and the late Josephine (nee Penney). Devoted father of Dan (Maddy) Sullivan of Bellmawr, JoAnn (Dave) Weir of Levittown, PA, Jack of Marlton, Peggy (Bill) Felix of Voorhees, Pat of Bellmawr, Ed of Marlton and the late Thomas. Grandfather of the late Britney and 11 dear grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Brother of the late John & Eugene. Dan served in many different positions in Bellmawr. He was the Fire Chief of Bellmawr # 1 for 20 years, the Construction & Building Inspector, the Civil Defense Director, and Fire Marshall. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the European Theatre and a member of the VFW Post # 7410 in Bellmawr. He was a member of the Local # 7 Bricklayers Union and the Operating Engineers Union. He co-owned and operated the John J. Sullivan Construction Company in Bellmawr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Tuesday morning from 8:45 to 10:15am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass Tuesday 11am Mary, Mother of the Church, Bellmawr.
