Sunday, July 24, 2011 On July 24th the Bellmawr Street Hockey Association held a street hockey fundraiser. The event was held in memory of Bradley Thomas Calhoun, the son of Retired Chief Tom Calhoun. Chief Calhoun’s son passed earlier in the month in a tragic swimming pool accident. Even with temps reaching 100 degrees, the event drew hundreds of street hockey players from all over along with several fire departments putting in teams. The Bellmawr Fire Department put together two teams, the old guys and the young guys. The old guy team went 2-0 and the young guys went 0-2 losing their second game to the old guys. Everyone had a good time and in the end, showed that brother hood supports one another in time of need. On behalf of the Calhoun Faimily and the BFD we would like to thank everyone that helped out
