The Bellmawr Fire & Rescue Squad requests your financial support for our 2020 Fund Drive. As our motto states, we are “Committed to Serving Our Community”. Our volunteers who stand ready to help you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year are your friends, neighbors and colleagues. In addition to full-time jobs and families our members responded to 1,000 Fire Calls and 3,200 EMS calls in 2019. Our call volume continues to increase as we receive wider response roles (EMS, Hazmat, Technical Rescue). We also participated in weekly in house training as well as certified training programs outside of the firehouse and many other community events.
We need your financial support for the purchase of new equipment and the maintenance of our existing equipment. Your support helps us help you and we hope you never need the services we provide but when you do you can count on us to be there.
To address the aging of the fire service and foster the next generation of firefighters and EMS personnel, the Bellmawr Fire Department is always looking for new members. One proven way is that we maintain a Junior Firefighter Program. The goal is to get more youth involved in the fire services while they are young, thus fostering a lifelong connection with the emergency services where they can continue to serve as volunteer or career firefighters or community supporters of the fire service throughout their adulthood all while providing a possible career path in emergency services as they grow.
